A screen price means little until you know what it buys. This is how we approach the information in our guides.
Public sources, identified clearly
We use publicly available manufacturer documentation, product information and other cited references. Each guide lists the source pages consulted and the date they were accessed. Sources support the claims attributed to them; a source list does not imply an endorsement.
Price references are not supplier quotations
Where a guide includes a public price example, it should identify the relevant currency, source, date and product context. Online listings can change, show a starting price, omit options or exclude taxes, freight, structure, installation and control equipment.
We do not present an invented customer quotation as market evidence. Indicative calculations and worked examples are labelled as examples. They are tools for understanding scope, not a promise of the final project cost.
Compare like with like
A comparable quote should state the screen size, pixel pitch, display technology, cabinet design, brightness requirements, control system, service access, spare parts, delivery scope and commercial terms. A price per square metre alone cannot establish whether two offers are equivalent.
Dates and changes
Each article shows an update date. Source access dates record research time, not the supplier’s price-validity period. We revise guides when we identify a material error or change; readers should verify current specifications and obtain a dated written quote before purchasing.
