A fixed outdoor screen with several cabinet formats

EagerLED describes EA1000F2 as a fixed outdoor advertising LED screen for commercial buildings, roadside billboards and large digital signs. Its main cabinet format is 1000 × 1000 mm, with an aluminum structure and 500 × 250 mm LED modules. The official page also describes other cabinet dimensions and two optional corner treatments. EA1000F2 product overview

For a building project, begin with the intended display outline and the service route. A flat façade, a sharp outside corner and a rounded corner need different cabinet arrangements. Ask for a drawing that identifies the proposed formats and each transition before turning a screen area into an equipment order.

Compare the flat-screen configurations by full model reference

The official 1000 × 1000 mm specification table lists seven configurations. The two P3.91 entries have different drive modes and brightness values. Keeping their 16S and 8S suffixes in the purchase specification prevents those entries from being treated as one interchangeable offer. Flat-cabinet specifications

Flat-screen model Module resolution Driving mode Published brightness
EA1000F2-P2.97 168 × 84 pixels 1/21 duty 5,000 cd/m²
EA1000F2-P3.91 16S 128 × 64 pixels 1/16 duty 5,000 cd/m²
EA1000F2-P3.91 8S 128 × 64 pixels 1/8 duty 6,500 cd/m²
EA1000F2-P4.81 104 × 52 pixels 1/13 duty 5,000 cd/m²
EA1000F2-P6.25 80 × 40 pixels 1/5 duty 6,500 cd/m²
EA1000F2-P7.81 64 × 32 pixels 1/4 duty 6,500 cd/m²
EA1000F2-P10.42 48 × 24 pixels 1/2 duty 6,500 cd/m²

All seven columns specify 500 × 250 mm modules, a 1000 × 1000 mm cabinet and a cabinet weight of 28.4 kg. They also list a refresh frequency of at least 3,840 Hz, 16-bit grayscale and a 140° viewing angle. Those common entries belong to the cited flat-cabinet table; they do not establish the dimensions or weight of every optional cabinet. Common flat-cabinet parameters

Ask the supplier to recommend a configuration against the actual audience positions and content. Preserve that recommendation alongside the proposed resolution and screen drawing. If an alternative is offered later, compare its full model reference and specifications before accepting the change.

Flat, beveled and curved layouts require separate drawings

The 500 × 250 mm module platform supports six listed flat cabinet formats: 1000 × 500, 1000 × 750, 1000 × 1000, 1500 × 500, 1500 × 750 and 1500 × 1000 mm. The page describes optional 45° beveled-edge cabinets that pair to form a 90° outside corner. It separately describes optional 90° curved cabinets for a rounded corner. Cabinet and corner options

Specify which corner treatment the design requires. A bevel pairing and a curved surface have different outlines, even when both turn the display around a building corner. Request the face dimensions, corner detail, cabinet positions and service access in the proposed arrangement.

The curved specification table uses model references with a C suffix and lists different physical values. For example, EA1000F2-P2.97C is listed at 625 × 1000 mm and 22.6 kg; the listed P3.91C through P10.42C configurations use 562.5 × 1000 mm cabinets weighing 21 kg. These values should stay attached to the curved models. Curved-cabinet specification table

EagerLED mentions glasses-free 3D campaigns as an application for a planned curved installation. Treat the content and viewing position as part of that proposal. Request a content demonstration matched to the intended layout rather than assuming a cabinet option supplies the finished visual effect.

Plan module service and cabinet access together

EA1000F2 modules can be installed and removed from the front or rear. EagerLED presents this dual-service arrangement for sites with limited space behind the screen as well as structures with a rear service area. Quick locks and positioning posts assist cabinet alignment, and module safety tethers provide secondary retention during installation and service. Access and cabinet details

The page also describes hard-connected modules that reduce exposed internal cabling. Ask for a demonstration of the replacement procedure on the proposed cabinet, including the connectors and retention points technicians will handle. Record the tools, replacement parts and access space used in that demonstration.

Confirm access for every serviceable component, rather than extending the module-access claim to the complete installation. Ask the supplier to show how the power supply and other components will be reached within the final supporting structure. Agree on the spare-part list and handover information with the people who will maintain the screen.

For a wall installation, supply a drawing of the space around the screen and any restrictions on reaching it. For a freestanding structure, include the proposed service route. These details let the supplier address the actual maintenance arrangement before the structure is finalized.

Review outdoor operation and electrical requirements

The published tables list IP65 protection, AC 90–264 V input and a working-temperature range of −20 to +60°C. The thermal design described on the page includes aluminum module baseplates, vortex cooling fans and a power supply mounted against the cabinet door panel with thermal paste. Outdoor operation and thermal design

Provide the installation location and operating schedule when requesting the technical proposal. Ask the project team to review the selected configuration, surrounding construction and intended operation together. The product table is a starting specification for that discussion; it does not document the completed site’s electrical distribution or supporting structure.

Power figures also vary by model. In the flat table, P2.97 lists 520 W/m² maximum and 175 W/m² average consumption, while P10.42 lists 550 W/m² maximum and 185 W/m² average. The intervening listed configurations show 450 W/m² maximum and 150 W/m² average. Model-specific power entries

Keep the maximum and average figures labeled in the project documents. Ask for the electrical requirements of the complete proposed display and identify what other equipment is included in the package. A quoted average product value should not be presented as a measured electricity bill for the installation.

Give the quotation a defined scope

Request a quote against the cabinet drawing and selected models.

Quotation item Information to provide or request
Screen outline Required width and height, photographs and installation drawing
Display configuration Full model references, proposed resolution and brightness
Corner geometry Flat, beveled or curved layout with the transition identified
Structure and access Supporting arrangement and service route for all components
Electrical scope Complete equipment requirements and connection responsibilities
Control and content Proposed control equipment and content demonstration
Delivery and handover Packing, supplied accessories, spares and service documentation

You can send these project details through the LED screen quotation form. Include the intended EA1000F2 models if already selected, or ask for a comparison tied to the supplied layout and content brief. No fixed package price or delivery promise follows from the public specification page.

EA1000F2 questions

Is EA1000F2 intended for rental events?

The official page positions it as a fixed outdoor advertising display for buildings, billboards and digital signage. Base a rental enquiry on a product expressly specified for that use, or ask EagerLED to assess the requirement before selecting equipment. Stated applications

Do both P3.91 models have the same brightness?

No. The flat EA1000F2-P3.91 16S column lists 5,000 cd/m², while EA1000F2-P3.91 8S lists 6,500 cd/m². Include the suffix in the quotation and specification. P3.91 variant comparison

Can modules be serviced from the front?

Yes. EagerLED describes installation and removal of the modules from either side. Confirm the access method and the arrangements for other components in the proposed installation. Module service description

Is every cabinet 1000 × 1000 mm and 28.4 kg?

No. Those are the main flat-cabinet table values. The page offers additional formats and provides separate dimensions and weights for curved models. Ask for the specification of each cabinet type in the planned screen. Cabinet formats and curved models

Are corner cabinets included automatically?

The manufacturer identifies the 45° beveled-edge and 90° curved cabinets as optional. Have the required corner geometry, quantities and matching model references explicitly included in the quotation. Optional corner cabinets
