EA-Flex is an indoor LED display family built from soft, bendable modules. EagerLED describes curved walls, cylinders, wave-shaped screens, spheres and irregular signs as possible forms. The documented construction uses magnetic attachment to a suitable metal support and allows modules to be serviced from the front with dedicated tools. This is a flexible-module approach to custom-shaped displays, with the module configuration and support structure chosen for the intended shape. Official product overview
For purchasing, begin with a drawing of the desired display surface. Mark the dimensions, changes in direction, viewing positions and any architectural boundaries. That drawing is a better starting point than a request for a general flexible-screen price because it identifies the shape the supplier is being asked to build and the parts of the design that must be resolved together.
Five module sizes within one flexible family
The official page identifies five module sizes. Each has its own specification section, and the manufacturer explicitly asks buyers to compare both size and pixel pitch. A family name does not establish that every listed size shares the same pitch or performance values. Module-size scope
| Module format | Documented EA-Flex scope | Recommended selection check |
|---|---|---|
| 240 × 120 mm | Separately listed module format | Request its available pitches and approved layout |
| 320 × 160 mm | Separately listed module format | Keep its exact model column with the quotation |
| 256 × 128 mm | Separately listed module format | Confirm the chosen pitch for this size |
| 250 × 250 mm | Separately listed module format | Review how it fits the proposed display surface |
| 300 × 168.75 mm | Separately listed module format | Preserve the dimensions without rounding the height |
Select the module size and pixel pitch together, and ask the supplier to identify both in the final configuration. The listed formats describe the available module dimensions. Size information
Ask for an order schedule naming the selected module size and pitch together. If the project uses more than one configuration, keep them on separate lines with their respective quantities and locations. This gives the designer, installer and buyer a shared reference when reviewing the screen layout and preparing the replacement-parts schedule.
Curvature belongs in the design brief
EagerLED states a bending limit of no more than 45° and describes EA-Flex as suitable for curved, cylindrical and wave-shaped indoor displays. The page advises confirming the intended shape and module configuration before installation. Bending and shape scope
Keep the manufacturer’s angle statement in its original form. It should not be converted into an unsupported radius, a number of repeated bends or a promise that any shape is possible. Give the supplier a dimensioned shape drawing and ask it to identify the configuration it approves for that drawing.
For an irregular surface, mark the joins between differently oriented areas and the edges that will remain visible. Ask for a layout showing how the chosen modules occupy the surface. This is also a useful stage to decide how the owner will review the finished geometry: for example, against an approved drawing and a demonstration section. The aim is to agree the design being purchased before the display is described as a finished custom system.
Magnetic mounting and front-service access
EA-Flex modules attach magnetically to a suitable metal support structure. The official description also identifies front service, with dedicated tools used to remove and maintain modules from the viewing side. The support structure is expected to match the planned screen shape. Mounting and maintenance
Request a clear division between the display-module supply and the support structure. The proposal should identify who designs, supplies and installs the structure, along with the drawings on which the module arrangement depends. Magnetic attachment is a documented product feature; it is not a complete support design for an unspecified architectural surface.
Include service access in the same drawing review. Ask for the removal procedure, required tools and access arrangements at edges, curves and recessed portions. A general front-service description does not state the working space needed at every point of a particular custom installation. Before handover, request a practical demonstration using the ordered module configuration and preserve the instructions with the project records.
Match visual performance to the exact module
The visible EA-Flex description gives brightness of 600–800 cd/m² depending on the model, a 140° viewing angle and a refresh frequency of at least 3,840 Hz. It directs the reader to the relevant model column for exact values. The brightness range therefore must not be reduced to an 800 cd/m² claim for every EA-Flex option. Published visual performance
Have the supplier put the selected module’s performance values beside its size and pitch on the quotation. If two configurations are being considered, compare each as a complete option. Do not combine the brightness from one with the size or pitch of another merely because both are listed within the EA-Flex family.
For the visual review, prepare content for the intended shape rather than judging only an isolated flat sample. Identify the main viewing positions and the text or graphic elements that matter to the owner. The pixel-pitch guide can help structure this brief. Treat the gallery as product illustration, not proof of a named customer installation or a guarantee that the same appearance will result in a different venue.
Quote a shaped display as a complete project
The following table is a planning aid. It separates the flexible modules from the project-specific work that still needs to be defined.
| Project decision | What the buyer should request |
|---|---|
| Shape | A dimensioned drawing with the supplier’s accepted curvature and module layout |
| Module selection | The exact format, pitch, quantity and applicable specification column |
| Support structure | Defined design, supply and installation responsibilities |
| Content review | A demonstration brief using the intended geometry and real content |
| Service | Removal instructions, named tools, access requirements and replacement-part identification |
| Commercial scope | Separate module, control, support, installation and delivery items |
When the design changes, update both the geometry drawing and the equipment schedule. A revised outline may require a revised proposal; avoid treating it as only a cosmetic change to a previous quotation. Keep the agreed revision attached to the purchase documentation so later comparisons use the same scope.
For handover, request the as-supplied module schedule, operating instructions and service information. Use the quote comparison checklist to track inclusions and exclusions, or describe the intended shape through the project enquiry form. No price, lead time or included accessory should be inferred from the EA-Flex family name alone.
EA-Flex questions
Is EA-Flex a flat-cabinet display or a flexible-module family?
The source describes soft, bendable LED modules for custom-shaped indoor surfaces, with magnetic assembly and front-service access. Product construction
What bending limit is documented?
The page states no more than 45°. It also asks buyers to confirm the required shape and module configuration. It does not provide a universal radius for every proposed installation. Bending scope
Are all EA-Flex modules equally bright?
The visible description gives a model-dependent range of 600–800 cd/m² and tells buyers to check the relevant model column. Keep brightness attached to the exact module being quoted. Performance scope
Does magnetic mounting eliminate the support structure?
No. The source describes magnetic attachment to a suitable metal support structure that matches the intended display shape. The project proposal should specify that structure and the installation responsibilities. Magnetic mounting
