Rental LED cabinet price by size and pixel pitch

500 × 500 vs 500 × 1000 mm rental panels
At the same pitch, the larger cabinet is cheaper per square metre. In indoor P2.97, which uses SMD1515 LEDs at 750 cd/m² in both sizes, the comparison is:

The tall cabinet covers twice the area, so a large backdrop needs half as many cabinets to lock, power and connect, and costs less. The square cabinet gives 0.5 m height steps, which helps when venues have low ceilings or when you need to build smaller exhibition walls. EagerLED documents vertical mixed assembly between the two C6 sizes, so a fleet can be mostly tall cabinets with square ones for height steps. If most of your bookings are flat conference and stage backdrops, a standard cabinet keeps capital cost down. Buy the corner or flexible families for the share of the inventory that will build exhibition corners, cubes or curved sets, and check which families can connect to each other before splitting the fleet.
Rental fleet budget: a 7 × 4 m wall with spares
For a 7 × 4 m (23.0 × 13.1 ft) indoor wall, arrange EA1000C6 P2.97 cabinets 14 across and 4 high. The 56 cabinets cover 28 m² (301.4 sq ft), and the display hardware costs 56 × US$363 = US$20,328.
Each 250 × 250 mm module has 84 × 84 pixels, and a cabinet holds 2 modules across and 4 high, giving 168 × 336 pixels per cabinet. The full wall is 2352 × 1344 pixels, close to a 16:9 canvas.
Building the same wall from EA500C6 cabinets takes 112 cabinets and costs US$24,304, which is US$3,976 more. A reserve of 4 additional EA1000C6 cabinets adds US$1,452, for 60 cabinets and US$21,780 in total. Label indoor and outdoor stock clearly. Cabinets in the same family can carry different modules, brightness and weather protection, and outdoor variants with black LEDs are priced as their own entries.
Check camera, power and support before ordering
Rental stock spends much of its life on camera. Ask for a recorded test with your usual cameras, frame rates and shutter settings, and keep the offered driver and receiving-card configuration in the order.
